“I am a solutions-oriented Automotive Investigator with extensive experience and expertise in complaint investigation and surveillance.”

In 1990, I began my career as an automotive investigator specializing in vehicles and records to secure and verify the information needed to prosecute suspected violators. Oftentimes, I was called up on to provide undercover surveillance to ensure that suspects were in compliance with laws related to the Automotive Repair Act.

During that time, I took statements and interviewed witnesses in order to document confirmed violations that would lead to complaint resolutions for my clients. I gathered and preserved statements, affidavits, and other evidence for legal actions. I mediated and negotiated between consumers and repair facilities to resolve complaints. I write detailed investigative reports and recommended appropriate disciplinary actions. I testify in court cases as an expert witness. I deliver educational and informational presentations pertaining to Auto Repair Act laws and regulations to individuals and groups of repair dealers, trade associations, and consumer groups.

During my tenure as an automotive legal expert, I have performed the following:

I have an Associate of Science Degree in Automotive Technology from Cypress College and held certification as Smog Check Test Only Technician. I am a former Chief I-Car Master Technician, Master ASE Automotive Technician, and State licensed Brake and Lamp adjuster.

I am certified as a legal expert in both State and Federal Court.
